An album of interesting selections by the then Director Don Coxon. It fails to include the musicians again apart from Louis Burdett who plays "The Joyful Skeleton" on Xylophone.

I don't know who Raymond Cray was that wrote the album notes but he was heavy into the analysis of what a Militry Band was as only a critic could. But thats secondary to the great selection of music on this album. Lets hope that we can get a list of the musicians that were on the album.
